I bought this tablet for my 7-year-old son because he constantly begged to use my iPad, and honestly, I was nervous about him stumbling into things he shouldn’t. The protective case is light but sturdy, the stand pops out easily so he can watch without holding it, and the screen brightness is surprisingly good even in the car during the day. Setting up the parental controls was simple, and I love that I can create his own little profile with only safe apps. The timer shuts it down right on schedule, which saves me from endless arguments. Battery has been decent — it lasts through an entire school day and some evening cartoons. My son calls it his “computer” and proudly shows me every game and drawing he makes.
